Cornwall Libraries Mini Challenge
Cornwall Libraries are operating a Mini Challenge alongside the nationwide Reading Challenge. This challenge is for children 0-4, or anyone who may find this more accessible. You can find out more information by going to your local library, or watching this video.

Krowji, Redruth currently have 2 large self-contained studios available.
Studio G16 is a ground floor, large, self-contained studio in the Percy Williams Building. Details: 500 square foot, £581.31 per month, inclusive of VAT but exclusive of electricity. This studio boasts external double door access allowing large equipment and artworks to be easily transported.
Studio 119 is a large, bright, first floor studio located in the Percy Williams Building. Details: 545 square foot, £704.35 per month, inclusive of VAT exclusive of electricity. This space benefits from multiple windows making it a light, bright workspace, as well as a beautiful view across to Portreath's coastline.

Funding Opportunities
Jerwood Art Fund Commissions
A new partnership between Art Fund and Jerwood Foundation, these grants will support museums and galleries to commission artists to make work of exceptional innovation and quality – furthering the artist’s development at a pivotal stage in their careers, while enriching public collections through new contemporary art.
Applications are considered from public museums, galleries, historic houses, libraries and archives based in the UK or Channel Islands that are:
Open for at least half the week for at least six months of the year.
At least provisionally accredited through the Arts Council Accreditation Scheme or other national equivalents
The fund also encourages partnerships between museums and other partners or other institutions who want to commission work that will have a permanent legacy for artists, cultural organisations and audiences.

Paid Opportunities
Freelance Executive Assistant
Location: Cornwall-wide
Deadline: 23rd of July 2024. This is a freelance position, paid at £30 per hour. Flexible daytime hours between 12 - 15 hours a week, remote/in person mix to be determined for the right candidate. Some evenings, weekends and travel to events.
A freelance executive assistant is required, to work in supporting a Creative Director who is working across live/performing arts, events, festivals and strategic cultural placemaking.
