Sites Manager at Cornwall Heritage Trust
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 30th of October 2024. This is a part time position, at 21 hours per week. The role is offered on a fixed term basis, for two years. The advertised salary is £35,000, pro rata.
This new role will focus on the development of all of the properties owned or managed by Cornwall Heritage Trust. This will include formulation and implementation of a robust sites management strategy across the whole portfolio and progressing work already undertaken to create a sites acquisition strategy.
Heritage Activities Officer at Redruth Former Library CIC
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 31st of October 2024. This role is 0.6 FTE, on a fixed term contract from January 2024 to December 2024. The advertised salary is £32,000 pro rata.
Redruth Former Library CIC seeks to appoint a part-time Heritage Activities Officer to play a crucial role delivering heritage activities and engagement for The Ladder. The Heritage Activities Officer role is designed to deliver four strands of heritage activities investigating the heritage of the building and the surrounding areas.
Engagement Officer at Redruth Former Library CIC

Redruth Former Library CIC seeks to appoint a part-time Engagement Officer to play a crucial role delivering events, learning and outreach for The Ladder.
Freelance Practitioners at the Active Looking Project
Location: Across Cornwall
Deadline: 4th of November 2024. This project seeks 11 practitioners, and there is a fee of up to £175 per day.
Make it Better CIC are looking for 11 artist practitioners to deliver a series of creative one-off workshops across Cornwall.
Funding Opportunities
Innovation in Diversity and Inclusion Awards from the Zurich Municipal Innovation
Awards of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available for initiatives that promote inclusivity and celebrate diversity within communities. These awards aim to highlight and reward the outstanding work being done to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, feels valued and included.

The Q Fund from Cornwall Council
The Fund supports literary projects that have a connection to Cornwall. You can apply for Grants of between £50 to £500 towards research work in literary or connected subjects. Grants can be for:
supporting travelling
getting transcripts
supporting other expenses in conducting research
Or, they may contribute to production costs of your literary project, including:
editing
design
printing

Boardmasters Foundation
Grant applications are now open from the Boardmasters Foundation, for individuals, groups, charities and organisations that work in Culture and Community. Cultural organisations that are involved with: surfing, music, creativity, education and/or Cornish culture, and community organisations that are in the immediate vicinity of the festival, or work to support diversity and inclusion.

Small Museum Grants
Cornwall Council is offering grants of £500 to £1,000 to museums, galleries and heritage centres in Cornwall. This is for activity that:
supports long-term sustainability
working collaboratively
trying something new
To be eligible an organisation must:
Acquire and care for tangible collections of objects and/or works of art
Make their collections accessible to the public
Be a not-for-profit organisation
Be located in Cornwall
