Museum Development Officer at Cornwall Council
Location: Cornwall-wide
Deadline: 7th of April 2025. This role is full time and permanent. The advertised salary is £30,882-£37,945 pro rata.
The successful applicant will have experience, expertise and knowledge of working in the museum sector and a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing museums. We are seeking someone who can lead museums in innovating, generating income and developing audiences. The successful applicant will also have experience of managing projects and of advising museums, heritage organisations and community groups.

Small Open Grants from Museum Development South West
The fund is currently open to applications ranging from £1000-£10,000. The scheme aims to promote organisational resilience, collections development, inclusion and equality, and environmental responsibility.
The fund is now accepting applications and will close on the 31st of March at midday.

Project Photographer
Salary: £28,854 pro rata, advertised at 21.6 hours per week, fixed term.
Alongside producing captivating photographs for publication and technical imaging for documentation, there will be opportunities to photograph the Palais de Danse itself during and after refurbishment.
Project Researcher
Salary: £14,674 pro rata, advertised at 18 hours per week, fixed term.
This temporary post will support the Curator, Exhibitions and Displays, in developing the next phase of the Palais de Danse project by contributing to the understanding of the Materials and Studio Collection and its position within Hepworth’s wider practice.

The position is to assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the studios and is a part-time role working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3pm.
Cornish Language Residency at Endelienta Arts
Location: St Endellion
Deadline: 1st of April 2025. This residency is for a 6 days in St Endellion in July, and a stipend of £600 is available per individual. Accommodation and workspace is provided for on site.
This weeklong residency is for creatives to work with a Cornish language expert to further their creative practice. During the week, residents will have mornings with a language expert and afternoons to develop their own practice, work with other residents, and gain inspiration from the North Cornish surroundings.
Graphics, Social Media and Moving Image Assistant at ASONE
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 4th of April 2025. This role is freelance, and the advertised fee is £1,000-£1,500 per month.
