Funding Opportunities
National Portfolio Creative People and Places Funding 2026-29
Creative People and Places focuses on parts of the country where involvement in creativity and culture is significantly below the national average. It funds partners in local areas to empower residents to decide what kind of creative activity they want to experience on their doorstep.
Please note this programme is for limited locations only, locally these include the Isles of Scilly and Plymouth but not Cornwall.
Applicants can apply for between £750,000 and £1,000,000. To be eligible:
A lead applicant must apply on behalf of a partnership of organisations to carry out activities in eligible locations only
Both existing and new Creative People and Places programmes can apply
The group must include representatives from community groups and cultural organisations, as specified in this guidance

Bodmin Keep Museum is looking for a great communicator with strong copywriting and content creation skills, who’s looking to take the next step in their marketing career in the cultural sector. The role will involve working closely with the museum team to promote Bodmin Keep and its programme of activities, events and exhibitions; developing and delivering marketing communications to attract visitors and locals alike and connect audiences to the museum and its charitable objectives.
Communications Coordinator at International Musicians Seminar
Location: Penzance
Deadline: 18th of August 2024. This is a part time position, advertised at 1 day per week. The advertised salary is £24,000-£28,000 pro rata.
International Musicians Seminar are looking for someone who will enjoy communicating about their work and who will help them to reach new audiences in Cornwall and across the UK. The Communications Coordinator will play a key role in helping develop and implement a new communications strategy, as well as supporting with administrative tasks and helping during events in Cornwall.

intoBodmin are seeking a creative practitioner(s) to collaborate with local amateur performers to create a short (20 minute max), scripted performance. This performance will be inspired by characters and themes the community group have formed in previous years. It will celebrate the changing of the seasons, incorporating some previously developed characters and traditions associated with Nos Kalan Gwav. It will become a key, traditional element of the annual Bodmin Nos Kalan Gwav event.

Bodmin Keep are particularly interested in hearing from people who are excited about their work and can bring relevant experience/knowledge of the heritage sector, veterans, volunteering, managing finances, income generation or visitor services.
