Back Scratching Calls from Lisa Townsend
Lisa Townsend, (freelancer and Marketing Lead for intoBodmin) is offering “Back Scratch Calls” over August and September as a way to connect with Cornwall’s creative and cultural sector. Young Writers Mentorship Programme 2025
The Writers Block are looking for young writers in any genre or form to be part of their mentoring programme. Six applicants will receive free access to monthly creative writing workshops in Redruth, including masterclasses with published writers, 1-1 mentoring to develop writing, and a chance to share and publish your work.

Experience and Events Grants from Experience Bodmin
Apply now for up to £3,500 to develop and pilot an event or experience. Experience Bodmin want to help businesses and organisations try out new ideas to attract visitors to Bodmin and the surrounding area.
They are inviting applications that:

Promote activities like cycling, hiking, local food experiences, traditional crafts, and nature-based activities that highlight Cornwall’s unique wildlife and landscapes.

Film Maker at CHAOS Digital
Location: Truro
Deadline: Ongoing. This role is full time and permanent, and the advertised salary is £28,000-£30,000.
The CHAOS Digital team have an opportunity available for an experienced film maker to join the team. This in-house role is based on The Roseland and will see the successful candidate working both on location and in-house producing a variety of video content for clients.
Executive Assistant at Hall for Cornwall
Location: Truro
Deadline: 27th of July 2025. This role is full time and permanent, and the advertised salary is £29,223.
The post holder will be providing efficient, effective, and flexible support, including assisting with internal and external communications, taking minutes, handling administration, and tracking data via customer relationship management (CRM) system, Spektrix.

Director of Creative Enterprise leads Creative Kernow’s growing enterprise activities, develops its future strategy and new opportunities, while manages the team that delivers current programmes including:
Cornwall 365 What’s On: The Premier Platform for cultural life in Cornwall;
Creative Kernow Associates: The membership programme to connect, develop and showcase the creative and cultural sector in Cornwall;

intoBodmin CIC is inviting expressions of interest from experienced, community-minded café operators to take on the running of The Old Library Café.
Archivist at Kresen Kernow
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 1st of August 2025. This role is permanent, and part time, advertised as 0.6FTE. The advertised salary is £30,882-£37,945 pro rata.
The archivist role includes a wide range of professional duties, from responding to customer enquiries, oversight of the reading room and strongroom security, to dealing with depositors, accessioning and cataloguing, and supporting outreach programmes. The archivists work closely with other colleagues in the front-facing public service, as part of a small, friendly and highly motivated team.

Trustee at The Morrab Library
The Morrab Library in Penzance, Cornwall's only independent library established in 1818, is seeking new Trustees. They are interested in applications from people with a passion for libraries, and knowledge/skills relating to any of these areas: collection management and conservation, governance, building management, IT/Digital, marketing, fundraising and partnership working.
