The Creative Census is now open!
The Creative Census is the most comprehensive annual research into the creative sector in Cornwall, the results will be used to inform future Creative Manifestos.It provides evidence of the importance of our rural creative economy. Everyone working in the Creative Industries is encouraged to take part in this survey.
This survey will close on the 12th of March 2024, at midday. Please complete it and share with your networks.
The Big Creative UK Summit: South West Summit
Join Creative UK for a day event in Cornwall to gather its vibrant network of live arts organisations, producers, venues and creative ambassadors. A panel will explore the commercial touring landscape, and an open-access session will follow where you can learn more about the Cornwall Create Growth Programme from the Creative UK team. This summit is taking place at Hall for Cornwall, on the 20th of February, 11AM-3PM.

Funding Opportunities
Digital Accelerator Programme from Bloomberg Philanthropies is now open
The Digital Accelerator provides funding, expert technical assistance, and leadership development over two years to strengthen the digital infrastructure of nonprofit cultural organizations with the principal goals of growing revenue, increasing fundraising, engaging audiences, improving operations, and developing programming opportunities.
Cultural Development Fund from Arts Council England is now open
The aim of the Cultural Development Fund is to level up through investment in culture. The fund will unlock local growth and productivity, increase access to excellent creativity and culture, and regenerate communities. It will achieve this through capital investment in transformative place-based creative and cultural initiatives.

Creative Kernow Administrator at Creative Kernow
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 16th of February 2024. The advertised salary is £23,400, pro rata. This is a permanent role, and the role is full time.
The post holder will support the CEO, the Creative Kernow board and the wider Creative Kernow staff team in a range of administrative tasks in order to enable the organisation to run effectively.
Creative Communities Administrator at Creative Kernow
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 16th of February 2024. The advertised salary is £23,400-£25,000, pro rata. This is a permanent role, and the role is part time, 0.8 FTE.
The post holder will co-ordinate the administrative processes involved in programme delivery for the Creative Communities strands.
Creative Kernow Finance Officer at Creative Kernow
Location: Redruth
Deadline: ASAP. The advertised salary is £26,000, pro rata. This is a temporary role, for 6 months, and the role is full time.
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Finance Officer is responsible for the operation of daily financial functions within the Group’s parent and subsidiary companies.
Finance Manager at Cornwall Heritage Trust
Location: Redruth
Deadline: 26th of February 2024. The advertised salary is £37,500 pro rata. This is a temporary role, for 1 year, and the role is advertised at 17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE).
The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial management of the charity and defining our ongoing strategy. This role has been created specifically following an extensive review of the organisation and is the result of significant financial investment to ensure the financial sustainability of the organisation; there will therefore be measurement against agreed targets and KPIs.
